The digital guest guide: what to put in it so guests actually read it

In short. A digital guide is the same welcome book you keep in the room, but on the guest's phone. It works only if it answers the questions they really ask: the Wi-Fi, directions, breakfast, what to see nearby. Written well, it removes half the calls and messages.

The same three questions, every time: what's the Wi-Fi password, when is breakfast, where do I park. You're happy to answer, but ten times a week adds up. The digital guide answers for you, before they ask.

What guests really look for

  • The Wi-Fi, right away and without dictating a password out loud.
  • The times: breakfast, check-out, dinner if you do it.
  • Directions and where to park.
  • What to do nearby: the trail, the village, the restaurant to send them to.
  • Useful numbers: yours, emergency, the pharmacy.

Why a digital guide and not just the one in the room

  • The guest has it before arriving, not only once they're there.
  • You update it once and it applies to everyone, with nothing to reprint.
  • You can translate it, useful with foreign guests.
  • A QR in the room and the link by message: two ways to reach it.

The mistakes that make it useless

  1. Too much: if it's as long as a booklet, nobody reads it.
  2. Out-of-date info: one wrong time and the guest stops trusting it.
  3. Missing the thing that matters most: the Wi-Fi, at the top, always.

Where does Fattore come in?

The digital guide is one of Fattore's modules. You write it once in your language and translation is included, up to 37 languages. The guest reaches it with a QR or a link: inside they find Wi-Fi, times, directions and your local tips. On the plan with the bill, they also see what they consume as they consume it. Full details in the modules.
